Job Description:
o You will establish a Business Analytics strategy and roadmap to develop and sustain a highly efficient data-driven team capable of delivering high-quality data products and solutions that generate tangible value through discoverability, accessibility, scalability, high quality and continuous improvement
o You are responsible to assess, evaluate and qualify customer demands and requirements within the Siemens AG and for our external customers
o Develop and manage the Analytics team. Drive the ideas generation for research and development work within the Analytics team.
o You are Curious & Data-driven, Creative & Innovative, Collaborative & Influential
o Implement advanced analytics approaches including statistical modelling and machine learning techniques such as XGBoost, Decision Tree, Clustering techniques, PCA etc. to solve business problems.
o Develop and automate real-time dashboards, performance monitoring visualizations
o Provide coaching and thought leadership and support to the broader analytics community (Analysts, Data engineers, Data Scientists etc.) to help solve key analytical/ data problems.
o In collaboration with cross functional teams, Identify and assess third party or internal data elements/solutions that can help improve business processes.
What we expect from you:
o 10+ years experience in Data Science and Analytics with relevant experience in Procurement/Supply chain.
o Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Statistics/ Engineering/ Business/ Economics from Top tier colleges.
o Proven experience in planning, designing and implementing of large-scale business solutions
o Deep knowledge of market requirements, new technologies and trends as well as digital platforms and applications in the S2C and P2P environment
o Customer orientation, analytical capacities, strategic thinking, IT solution architecture experience and out-of-the box-thinking characterize you
o Proficient with Python, SQL, Excel.
o Experienced in building and managing a team of data scientists and analysts.
o Demonstrated success in defining goals, formulating approach, building analytical models and continuous optimization.
